When a vessel is mobilizing for a project with equipment like ROV’s, survey spread, trenchers, plough or similar there is a lot of time spent to install signal cables and distribute all the signals between the different locations on the vessel.

Most of the vessels today are not prepared with a cablesystem that can handle the demand for signal distribution, so normally a temporary solution is chosen, and the result over the years is a bundle of unmarked cables.

Temporary solutions also tend to be unreliable.

If a permanent network is installed the reliability of the signal distribution will strongly increase and the mobilisation time will decrease.

RTS AS is a turn key supplier of Maritime LAN Network systems. We have extensive experience with planning, installation and commissioning of these types of systems. Our reference list contains vessels including dive vessels, cable and pipe lay vessels, multi purpose vessels, survey vessels and supply vessels.

We can also deliver network equipment including, but not limited to:
